| - (i) A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- (ii) The candidate should have completed a Diploma in Sports Coaching in the relevant sport discipline from any of the following:
- A National Sports Institute run by the Government of India under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports
- Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education, Gwalior
- (iii) Sports Achievements: Participation or achievement in the concerned sport discipline in: Olympic Games / Commonwealth Games / Asian Games, representing the country, or
- Winning a medal in Senior National Championship
- Representing at least twice in Junior National Championship / National Youth Championship, or
- Participation at least three times in Inter-University Championship / All India Police Games / Inter-Railway Championship
