The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the notification for NEET UG 2026. This is the single largest medical entrance exam in India for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, and other undergraduate medical courses. The NTA NEET UG Online Form 2026 registration period starts from 08 February 2026 and remains open until 08 March 2026. Candidates must check the updated exam pattern and mandatory Aadhaar eKYC requirements before applying.

Latest News: New Changes in NEET UG 2026

  • Aadhaar-based eKYC: For the first time, NTA has made Aadhaar-based eKYC mandatory for identity verification during registration.
  • Live Photo Capture: Candidates must capture a live photo through the web-camera while filling the form. Pre-uploaded photos must also follow strict 80% face coverage guidelines.
  • Mandatory Questions: Based on latest updates, the optional Section B has been modified in some subjects; candidates are advised to check the Information Bulletin for specific subject-wise choice patterns.

Selection Process & Counseling (चयन प्रक्रिया और काउंसलिंग)

Phase Description
Phase 1: Entrance Exam Appear for the NEET UG 2026 National Level Written Examination.
Phase 2: AIR Ranking NTA releases All India Ranks based on marks and normalization rules.
Phase 3: AIQ Counseling (15%) Conducted by MCC for All India Quota seats, Deemed/Central Universities.
Phase 4: State Counseling (85%) State-wise authorities conduct counseling for local quota seats.
Phase 5: Document Verification Final seat allotment and physical verification at allotted medical colleges.

  • Postcard Size Photograph (4″x6″).
  • Scanned Signature (Black ink on white paper).
  • Left and Right hand Fingers and Thumb impressions.
