Eligibility Criteria (पात्रता मापदंड)

Educational Qualification Passed or appearing in the Final MBBS Examination (Written & Practical). Must complete internship before joining.
Age Limit (as on 01/08/2026) Maximum 32 Years. Candidates must not have been born earlier than 2nd August 1994.

The UPSC CMS selection consists of two stages:

  • General Medicine: Cardiology, Respiratory diseases, Gastrointestinal, Genito-Urinary, Neurology, Hematology, Endocrinology, Metabolic disorders, Infectious/Communicable Diseases, Nutrition/Avitaminosis, Tropical Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, Psychiatry, Dermatology.
  • Paediatrics: Common childhood emergencies, Basic newborn care, Normal growth and development, Immunization, Vitamin deficiency diseases.
  • Surgery: General Surgery, Abdominal Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Urology, Neurosurgery, ENT, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, Traumatology.
  • Gynaecology & Obstetrics: Ante-natal conditions, Intra-natal conditions, Post-natal conditions, Normal delivery and complications, Medical Termination of Pregnancy, Family Planning.

How to Fill UPSC CMS Online Form 2026 (फॉर्म कैसे भरें)

  • Visit the UPSC OTR Portal.
  • If not registered, complete the One Time Registration (OTR) process.
  • Log in using your Email ID/Mobile Number and OTP.
  • Select “Combined Medical Services Examination 2026”.
  • Fill in basic details, educational qualifications, and select exam center.
  • Upload scanned photograph, signature, and Photo ID proof as per specifications.
