Selection Process (चयन प्रक्रिया)
The CTET is a qualifying entrance exam. The selection process involves the following stages:
- Written Examination: Candidates must appear for Paper I and/or Paper II as per their preference.
- Qualifying Marks: Candidates must score minimum qualifying marks to pass.
- Issuance of Certificate: CBSE provides a DigiLocker-verified CTET Certificate (Valid for Lifetime).

- TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher): Pay Level 7 (₹44,900 to ₹1,42,400). Approx in-hand: ₹60,000 – ₹72,000.
- PGT (Post Graduate Teacher): Pay Level 8 (₹47,600 to ₹1,51,100). Approx in-hand: ₹70,000 – ₹85,000.
