The Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology Shibpur (IIEST Shibpur) has released an official notification for the recruitment of 02 temporary faculty posts. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official IIEST Shibpur website. The last date to submit the application form is 03-02-2026.

- Qualification: Ph.D. degree with first class (minimum 60% marks or minimum CGPA 6.5 on a 10-point scale) at both Bachelor’s and Master’s level in the relevant discipline.
- Preferences will be given to candidates having outstanding academic records, publications, patents, industrial experiences, post-doctoral / UG-PG teaching/research experiences etc.
- The remuneration of the temporary faculty shall be a fixed consolidated amount of Rs. 75,000.00 per month with no other allowances.
- The age of the candidate must not exceed 60 years on the date of the interview.
- For UR/EWS/OBC (NCL) category candidates: Rs. 1000/-
- For SC/ST/PwD category candidates: Rs. 500/-
- Pay through online transfer or NEFT or UPI to the specified IIEST Shibpur account (UCO Bank, BESU Branch, Account No. 23690110091845, IFSC: UCBA0002369).
- Interview (original certificates to be produced along with self-attested copies).
- The decision of the selection committee shall be final.
