Eligibility Details
Consultant (Admin & Accounts)
- Retired from Admin & Accounts Cadre in Group ‘A’ or ‘B’
- Should be below 65 years of age
- Officials retiring on superannuation up to 30.06.2026 are eligible
- Must possess knowledge of Government Rules & Regulations and computer proficiency
Consultant (Drivers)
- Retired from Driver Cadre-I
- Should be below 65 years of age
- Valid LMV & HMV driving licence issued by competent authority
- Officials retiring on superannuation up to 30.06.2026 are eligible
Age Limit
- Maximum age: 65 years as on 30 June 2026
Pay & Allowances
- Fixed monthly remuneration equivalent to 50% of last pay drawn
- Transport Allowance at 50% of entitlement at retirement
- No Dearness Allowance, HRA or increment during re-engagement
- No TA/DA for official tours
- No contribution to GPF or Gratuity during re-engagement
Tenure & Conditions
- Initial engagement for one year
- Extendable up to five years or till attaining 65 years, whichever is earlier
- Purely contractual in nature
- Re-engagement can be terminated by BARC at any time without assigning reasons
- Re-engaged consultants must perform duties as assigned from time to time
Selection Process
- Scrutiny of applications
- Engagement based on requirement and suitability
- No correspondence will be entertained regarding rejection
